Fig, Apple & Cinnamon Cream Cheese English Muffins with Andrea Mathis

English Muffins are a staple in our home! They are so versatile and can be topped with a combination of sweet and savory ingredients. When determining the perfect, English Muffin combo I typically gravitate towards a simple jam or butter spread, but this time I was craving something a little bit more exciting!

I’ve always loved the taste of apples and figs, especially during the Fall season, so I thought that it would be the perfect topper! Fig, Apple & Cinnamon Cream Cheese English Muffins

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 Canyon Bakehouse Stay-Fresh Honey Whole Grain English Muffins
  • 2 Gala apples, sliced
  • 4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons softened cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons softened butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, cinnamon, and honey, and set aside.
  2. Split English Muffins in half and toast them in a toaster oven for about 3 minutes.
  3. Spread cream cheese mixture, evenly, onto each muffin and top with sliced apples and figs. Sprinkle rosemary on top, before serving.
  4. Enjoy!
