SOFT CHEESE ON TOAST WITH COPPA AND CRANBERRY SAUCE

A simple, impressive snack with French Triple Cream, cranberry sauce made with caramelized onions and dry-cured pork on toasted Country White Bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • ½ White Onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ C. Cranberry Preserves
  • 6 oz. French Triple Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz. sliced Coppa
  • 4 Slices Canyon Bakehouse Country White Bread, toasted

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until softened, 3-4 minutes.
  2. Cover the pan and allow the onions to begin caramelizing, 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the cranberry preserves to the pan and incorporate. Reduce heat and allow the mixture to thicken and reduce by ¼.
  4. Spread each slice of toast with cheese. Assemble the toast with cranberry sauce and coppa slices.
