Honeyed Plums and Figs on Toast

Ingredients

2 Plums or Pluots, pitted and sliced into eighths

4-6 Fresh Figs, quartered

1 Tbsp. Honey

1 Tbsp. Turbinado Sugar

½ tsp. Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend

4 Slices Canyon Bakehouse Ancient Grain Bread, toasted

½ C. Mascarpone Cheese

2 tsp. Fresh Thyme Leaves, for garnish
Directions

- Combine the sliced fruit in a bowl and drizzle with the honey.
- Whisk together the turbinado sugar and cinnamon or pumpkin spice blend and shake it over the honeyed fruit. Toss thoroughly to combine.
- Spread each slice of toast with the mascarpone cheese and spoon the prepared fruit on top. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
