Homemade Burger Sauce Bar

Customize your burger at the homemade sauce bar with old fashioned "special sauce," horseradish sauce, and homemade BBQ sauce; serve in cute jars.

Ingredients

    Barbecue Sauce
  • 1/3 C. Ketchup

  • ¼ C. Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 2 tsp. Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder

  • ½ tsp. Smoked Paprika

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

    Horseradish Cream Sauce
  • 4 oz. Sour Cream

  • 2 oz. Horseradish Sauce

  • 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice

    Special Sauce
  • ½ C. Mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp. White Vinegar

  • 1 tsp. Hot Sauce (optional)

  • ¼ tsp. Garlic Powder

  • ¼ tsp. Onion Powder

     

  • ¼ tsp. Paprika

    Burgers
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef

  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder

  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

  • 4 Canyon Bakehouse Burger Buns

  • Suggested Toppings: Sliced Cheddar Cheese, Sliced Tomato and Butter Lettuce

Directions

Barbecue Sauce

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce reaches a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer (uncovered) for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.

Horseradish Cream Sauce

  1. For the horseradish cream, whisk together the sour cream, horseradish sauce and lemon juice.

Special Sauce

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the tangy sauce.

Burgers

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powders, salt and pepper.
  2. Form the meat mixture into 4 patties, slightly flattened.
  3. Place the patties on the grill. Cook until browned on both sides and tension can be felt in the center.
  4. Right off the grill, place a slice of cheese onto each patty if desired.
  5. Assemble each burger on a bun with a choice of sauce and toppings.
