Bagel French Toast

Plain Bagels

INGREDIENTS

  • Canyon Bakehouse Plain Gluten Free Bagels
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup coconut milk
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla flavor

 

For the Sauce

  • 1 Cup plain coconut milk yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup maple syrup
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla flavor

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Whisk the three eggs, coconut milk and vanilla flavor into a deep set bowl. Cut the bagels in half and heat in the microwave for 20 seconds to soften.
  2. Add the bagel halves into the egg mixture and let soak for 10 minutes. Make sure they are fully submerged.
  3. While they soak, make the sauce. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk all the ingredients for the sauce until fully blended. Set aside.
  4. Heat a frying pan with coconut oil and fry the french toast one at a time until golden brown on each side. Plate and top with yogurt sauce and fresh cut fruit of your choice.
