    Learning & Organizational Development Specialist

    Successful Candidates Must Be Able to Perform All Essential Responsibilities & Duties of This Position:

    • Supports Marketing Manager in the execution of brand strategies.
    • Continuously develops comprehensive social media strategies and specific campaigns that incorporate social media techniques to generate visibility, membership and traffic for our brand.
    • Manages the responses communicated to the company’s social media communities to ensure a vibrant, engaging, and rewarding experience for consumers.

    • Experience with online technology and an interest in blogs, social networks, mobile, and other emerging trends.
    • Facebook advertising and Google analytics experience a plus.

    Desirable skills: 

    • Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; SEO, SEM, HTML, Wordpress. Videography and photography skills a major plus.
    • Understanding of brand marketing and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Possessing a creative eye.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The Marketing Associate will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
    • The Marketing Associate may have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
    • Sensory demands include use of the computer, which will require the ability to see and use hands and fingers.
    • The Marketing Associate will manage a number of requests and situations at the same time and may be required to complete tasks within tight deadlines.

    Working Conditions & Exposures:

    • This position is mostly performed in an office setting.
    • When in the Plant, general manufacturing working conditions exists.  Exposures include, but are not limited to temperature changes, noise, dust, and moving equipment and machinery.
  • Production Team Member starting @ $13.00 per hour

    This position will be responsible for the following job duties in a commercial wholesale bakery: operating bakery-related processing equipment; measuring and mixing ingredients; operating product packaging equipment.

    Essential Functions:

    • Load and unload cool and hot pans from production line, up to above shoulder height and down to below knee.
    • Stack and unstack pans, pallets and bread trays.
    • Load and unload oven and/or proof box.
    • Dump waste buckets.
    • Assist with other positions as assigned by supervisor.
    • May fill in for absent positions in production or packaging areas.
    • Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system.
    • Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
    • Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
    • Push/pull oven and cooling racks.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Regular, consistent attendance is required.
    • Basic mathematical skills in weights, temperatures, times and general numbers.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all employees.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is an essential function of the job. Training materials, SQF Standards and other business-related documents are all written in English.  All business/staff and training meetings, 1:1 meetings between management and staff (formal and informal), and on-the-job work direction/instruction are conducted in English.
    • The bakery runs 24/7 with 3 shifts Monday through Friday.  Shift availability depends on needs at the time of application.
    • Overtime is required at times.  Working holidays is not typical, however it may be required if production demands are high. Working weekends is also not typical, but some Saturdays are required if production demands are high.

                  

    Education:

    • High school diploma or GED.

     

    Experience:

    • Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training.

     

     Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 
    • Stack and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
    • Lift and reach with 25+ lbs. above shoulder height.
    • Ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift.

  • Senior Food Scientist

    Our Senior Food Scientist is responsible for being a leading voice in the Research and Development of our phenomenal gluten-free products. Food Scientists are charged with creating, investigating and executing new recipes, along with refining current recipes. Our Senior Food Scientist is a trusted expert within the company for ingredients and recipes. This position will assist in growing our current product line, offering new products and assist in the growth of our organization.

  • Shuttle Driver

    We are currently looking for drivers who will be responsible for transporting finished goods, materials and equipment between facilities.  All deliveries between Canyon facilities will be made locally in Loveland, CO.  Successful drivers will be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check, ad will bring experience in driving box trucks.  In addition to driving, we will ask our drivers to unload the trucks and stage product in the proper inventory location in the warehouse.  Once, the product has been put in the correct location, our drivers will be required to complete the required paperwork and log it into our data systems.  Drivers should come with a base knowledge of computer operation and knowledge.  Drivers will also be relied on to help within the warehouse for inventory, cycle counts and shipping/receiving functions.
