  • 3rd Shift Production Worker

    Our Production Workers will be responsible for the following job duties in a commercial wholesale bakery: Operate bakery related processing equipment; Measuring and mixing ingredients; Operate product packaging equipment.

    Essential Functions:

    • Load and unload cool and hot pans from production line - up to above shoulder height and down to below knee
    • Stack and unstack pans, pallets and bread trays
    • Load and unload oven and/or proof box.
    • Dump waste buckets
    • Assist with other positions as assigned by supervisor.
    • May fill in for absent positions in production or packaging areas.
    • Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system.
    • Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
    • Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
    • Push/Pull oven & cooling racks
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Regular, consistent attendance
    • Basic mathematical skills in weights, temperatures, times and general numbers
    • Able to communicate and work effectively with all employees
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
    • Willing to work irregular and/or rotating shifts. 
    • Working holidays and weekends is frequently required
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is an essential function of the job. Training materials, SQF Standards and other business-related documents are all written in English; and all business/staff and training meetings; 1:1 meeting between management and staff (formal and informal), and on-the-job work direction/instruction are conducted in English.


    Education

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent


    Experience

    • Will receive on the job training


     Physical Requirements:

    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
    • Lift and reach with 25+ lbs. above shoulder height
    • Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift.
    • Push bakery racks
    • Handle hot pans
    • Continuous repetitive motions.

     
    Working Conditions & Exposures: 
    General manufacturing working conditions exists.  Exposures include, but are not limited to temperature changes, noise, dust, and moving equipment and machinery.

  • Packaging Team Member

    Packaging Team Members are called upon to take the finished product out of trays and put the packaged bread in boxes in preparation for shipment. Packaging members will also palletize and shrink wrap finished pallets.  Experience working with a  pallet jack is highly sought after.  This position requires good manual dexterity and the ability to work at a very fast pace.

    Team members must possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand English is an essential function of the job. Training materials, SQF Standards and other business-related documents are all written in English; and all business/staff and training meetings; 1:1 meeting between management and staff (formal and informal), and on-the-job work direction/instruction are conducted in English 

    Essential Functions:

    • Take bagged product and put it into boxes
    • Operate at an extremely fast rate of speed.
    • Remove boxes from conveyor and palletize according to pallet design
    • Operate pallet wrapper
    • Utilize pallet jack
    • Teamwork and communication

  • Plant Janitor

    The Plant Janitor is responsible for all sanitation operations ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards including SQF. This role cleans and sanitizes the manufacturing facility and equipment in a timely manner and in accordance with all Company, State, and Federal regulations. Top candidates will have past experience in following safety rules and sanitation processes. All food production facilities require strict janitorial and sanitation procedures due to strict SQF and FDA guidelines pertaining to food protection.

    Essential Functions:

    Everyday duties consist of cleaning items in the dish pit making sure all dishes are washed and fully dried. Check production line daily and hourly to see what they need to have done to maintain sanitation standards. Sweep production line and clean out drain by the mixing area and water chiller daily. Also, sign off paperwork indicating all duty assignments were completed. Clean break room by wiping down tables, clean windows, sweep floors, empty trash cans and clean restrooms. Stock all toilet paper and paper towels.  

    Certain days may require additional duties: Change Outs- make sure to wash all equipment for production. We have to wash bowls and depositors and have Food Safety sign off on everything.   
     
    Skills and Abilities:

    To be flexible to hours and working day requirements. Must have weekend availability. Ability to work as a team well with others taking instructions and being detailed orientated. 

    • Responsible for Food Safety and Quality 


    Physical Requirements 

    • Ability to work in confined spaces (ovens are 48 inches wide)
    • Ability to work at heights over four feet
    • Ability to use power lifts and wear a safety harness
    • Ability to climb industrial ladders

  • Sanitation Team Lead

    Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating Food Safety (Sanitation) team member work activities to ensure that our quality products are produced in a safe manner.  Food Safety is run in accordance with established company procedures and third party requirements.

    • Ensure that Food Safety workers are following safety protocols and that the workplace is maintained in a safe manner.
    • Communicate issues and ideas for improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Motivate and encourage personnel to achieve goals and demonstrate a positive attitude to employees.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment, and implement continuous quality improvement.
    • Current Colorado Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as aptitude with Microsoft Office, to facilitate discussion between leadership and personnel from all departments.
    • Prior experience working in an FDA facility is preferred. 
    • 3 years’ experience working with sanitation of food service facility is preferred.
