Toast with Seared Radish and Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes

Savory and buttery radishes seared until golden and tossed with summer tomatoes for a scrumptious toast topper.


  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Bunch Radishes, halved
  • 1 Pint Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 6 SlicesCanyon Bakehouse 7 Grain Bread, toasted
  • Fresh Herbs or microgreens, for garnish


  1. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Place the radishes in the pan, cut side down. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Cook the radishes until they soften and begin to brown, 3-5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and garlic. Cook 2 minutes more and remove from the heat.
  4. Add the butter to the seared vegetables and toss to coat.
  5. Top each slice of toast with the seared vegetables.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs or microgreens and serve immediately.
