Start your day with a flavor-packed breakfast burger, featuring a juicy patty, savory deli ham, gooey melted cheese, and a perfectly cooked egg, all on a Canyon Bakehouse Brioche-Style Hamburger Bun.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Pkg. Canyon Bakehouse Brioche-Style Hamburger Buns (4 buns)
  2. 1 lb. Ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  3. Salt and pepper to taste
  4. 4 Slices of deli ham
  5. 4 Eggs, sunny side up
  6. 4 Slices of Swiss cheese
  7. 1 Tbsp. Butter

Directions

  1. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
  2. Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  3. Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Lightly toast the precut Brioche-Style Hamburger Buns on the griddle until golden brown. Set aside.
  5. Turn up the heat to medium-high.
  6. Cook the patties on the griddle for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  7. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  8. In the same skillet, warm the deli ham slices until they are lightly browned and heated through.
  9. In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat, then crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
  10. Assemble the burgers, placing the cooked patties with melted cheese on the bottom halves of the toasted buns, adding a slice of deli ham on top of each patty, gently placing a sunny side up egg on top of the ham, and top with the other half of the bun.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy!
