Chunky Apple Butter with Almonds and Dates

A chunky, spreadable butter with spiced apples, almonds and dates for morning toast or a take-along sandwich.


  • 1 C. Raw Almond Butter
  • 1 C. Chopped Dates, presoaked in water for 30 minutes
  • ½ C. Apple Juice
  • 1 C. Diced Apples
  • 1 C. Chopped Almonds
  • 1 Loaf Canyon Bakehouse Mountain White Bread


  1. Place the almond butter, chopped dates and apple juice in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples and chopped almonds. Add the blended mixture and stir to incorporate.
  3. Use the coarse mixture as a spread for toast or sandwiches.
